Once home to thousands of residents in the mid-to-late 1900's, the former township of Mary Kathleen has had its main structures mostly removed. 

Visitors are welcome to visit the mine site and enjoy the beautiful colours of the earth and water that make up the abandoned mine pit and its surroundings.

Please note: the Mary Kathleen Township and Mine is on private land. Leave gates and landscapes as you found them.
